The Kampong Glam Trail takes you through one of Singapore’s most historic and colourful districts where Malay royalty once resided, and where one of the most iconic mosques in Singapore, Masjid Sultan, is situated. The Malays were one of the very first ethnic groups to settle down in early Singapore, and their history and heritage are closely entwined with the nation’s. The charity partner for the Kampong Glam trail is the Malay Heritage Foundation, which operates out of the Malay Heritage Centre along this trail.
